The Legacy has 4 USPTA/USPTR certified tennis professionals on staff, 3 of which are/were also High School coaches for Parkview Baptist, Episcopal Prep and University Lab
Ryan Dornier, Tennis Director
As a junior player, was top 5 in the State and top 80 in the South as well as nationally ranked in both singles and doubles. Also held Southern and National rankings as an Adult. Coaching experience is now over 24 years, and has developed his own certification. Has trained and coached both Juniors and Adults on state, southern and national levels.
Ray Anders, Tennis Pro
Played at an elite level in college at both Tyler Junior college, and at the University of Kentucky where he received many awards as a player. Has been coaching in Baton Rouge since 1981, and is also the Head Coach at Parkview Baptist where he has lead his Boys and Girls teams to State Titles
Peter Hawking, Tennis Pro
Has coached high level juniors and adults for over 30 years and was the former Head Coach at Episcopal Prep where he also lead teams to the State Title, and during his first six years the tennis team earned a record of 63-2-2. Peter played tennis for four years at the University of Arkansas. He was all-conference his senior year, and the team was rated as high as third in the nation. Peter played on the pro tour for a year and was ranked in the top four hundred in the world. Peter also coached players , ranked in the top hundred in the world, on the pro tour for two years. In between his Masters degree and his Doctorate he was the assistant coach at the University of Arkansas. Both years he held this position Arkansas won the conference title. Peter was also the head tennis coach at Fayetteville High School for two years. His team during this time earned a record of 24-0.
Darren Thevenote, Tennis Pro, USPTA certified
Playing career includes top level junior with a ranking of #3 in the State, and top 60 in Southerns, and included being ranked nationally. He is currently 21 years of age and is continuing to play tournaments. The Legacy is his first stint as a teaching pro, and we look forward to having him
Richie Weaver, Tennis Pro
Playing career includes adult tournaments where he played at a high 4.5 and 5.0 level, and was tennis director at the Aquatic Club and is also a Head Umpire at LSU home matches. Richie has been teaching players for over 25 years
